The Incredible Hulk

Genre: Comic / Action
Score: 9/10

Synopses: The explosive, action-packed adventure in one of the all-time most popular superhero sagas unfolds with a cure in reach for the world’s most primal force of fury: “The Incredible Hulk.” We find scientist Bruce Banner (Edward Norton) living in shadows, scouring the planet for an antidote. But the warmongers who dream of abusing his powers won’t leave him alone, nor will his need to be with the only woman he has ever loved, Betty Ross (Liv Tyler). Upon returning to civilization, our brilliant doctor is ruthlessly pursued by The Abomination (Tim Roth)–a nightmarish beast of pure adrenaline and aggression whose powers match The Hulk’s own. A fight of comic-book proportions ensues as Banner must call upon the hero within to rescue New York City from total destruction. And on June 13, 2008…one scientist must make an agonizing final choice–accept a peaceful life as Bruce Banner or the creature he could permanently become: The Incredible Hulk. (From MovieTome.com)

The Good: The Plot. Not really the first time that someone is trying to get rid of his powers (Spider-man 2), but in this case, it really is a danger to humanity when he uses his. Although he really can't help it. The Action in this movie is explosive. Lots of gun fire and a lot of ripping cars apart and using them as weapons.

I loved the way how Hulk isn't being shown as some stiff giant, but is more agile in his movements.

The CG used to create Hulk was also really awesome. He blended in well into the Background and live action and you don't find yourself constantly thinking "wow, that looks like Computer Graphics".

I liked the way how they just jumped into the action, without going into a 30min story about how Hulk was created.

The Bad: Well, there were some issues with Hulk's size. Sometimes he appears larger than other times. I think that was looked over when editing and really isn't the best thing to not notice when you are working with a Character where the Size really matters.

The constant Screaming or Roaring or whatever you want to call the sound that Hulk makes. It's more like a Dinosaur than a Mutant.

I wasn't sure if the story was continuing from the last movie or not. I was somewhat disoriented by the fact that there was no "this is how he became Hulk" part of the movie, but as I said in my "the Good" section, it gets you straight into the smashing and running and breaking and yelling action. :P

Great Movie. It was totally worth the watch.
